Privacy policy

Version of October 23, 2026

Controller: Hobbit Academy E.I.R.L., Peruvian tax ID (RUC) 20616427921, Oxapampa, Pasco, Perú. Contact for personal data: henry@hobbitacademy.net.pe.

What we store: your account (the name of the Google account you sign in with, never shown publicly), the public name you choose, your reviews, votes, likes, complaints, suggestions and reports. If you give a "cafecito" by card, we store the amount, the date and the code Culqi generates, never your card number; if you give it by Yape, the amount and, if you type it, your email.

Why: to show your reviews and calculate scores, to moderate content and detect coordinated manipulation (always with human review before a final sanction), and to record contributions. The legal basis is the relationship you start when you create your account (Peruvian Law 29733). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with: Supabase (database and sign-in) and Vercel (hosting), in the United States; Culqi, in Peru, only for card payments; and Google, only to confirm your identity when you sign in. Posters load from TheTVDB and RAWG, which receive your browser's IP address. This involves an international transfer to providers with adequate protection.

How long: while you have an account. If you delete it, your reviews remain as "Deleted user" so averages are not altered; payment records are kept only for the period tax law requires.

Your rights: you can request access, rectification, cancellation or objection, or delete your account, from your Hobbit Academy account (https://grupo.hobbitacademy.net.pe/cuenta#tus-datos) or by writing to henry@hobbitacademy.net.pe. We reply within 20 business days for access and 10 for the rest. If you are not satisfied, you can go to Peru's National Authority for Personal Data Protection.

Age: you must be 14 or older to have an account.

Cookies and storage: only the session cookie and local storage to remember your language and light or dark theme. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. To count visits we use Vercel Web Analytics, with no cookies and without identifying you (aggregate data only).

If the languages differ, the Spanish version prevails.
